You are the salt of the earth

“You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.” (MT 5: 13)

Every person is important; especially every person who recognizes his or her mission here on Earth. Our smiles and good words, our examples, and our advice can change somebody’s life forever. Our decision to take responsibility, take ownership, and start protecting our relationship in a very conscientious way can make a huge impact on our environment. This makes Our Lord proud of us: “let your light shine before others.”
