Wherever you enter a house

“Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave from there. Whatever place does not welcome you or listen to you, leave there and shake the dust off your feet in testimony against them.” (MK 6: 10-11)

“Wherever you enter a house”; houses are still the best option for those who work with families (my brothers from our community and I prefer to stay with families when traveling to different cities and countries). A hotel is a nice option for rest and recovery, (sometimes very needed), but a house is the best place to learn about marriage and family life and to experienced Our Lord’s life. Jesus did not recommended to stay in inns, but He told his apostles to “enter a house, [and] stay there until you leave from there.”

“The Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the Gospel.” (Gospel Acclamation)
