were pressing upon him to touch him

“He told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, so that they would not crush him. He had cured many and, as a result, those who had diseases were pressing upon him to touch him.” (MK 3: 9-10)

We also can bring our wounds and our diseases to Him. He is the same–He loves us and takes care of us. We can even touch Him by receiving Holy Communion or taking out our Bible. He is closer to us than we can imagine.
