total number of generations from Abraham

“Thus the total number of generations from Abraham to David is fourteen generations; from David to the Babylonian exile, fourteen generations; from the Babylonian exile to the Christ, fourteen generations.” (MT 1: 17)

Beginning on the 17th of December, we start direct preparation for Christmas. Every day we move closer and closer to experiencing God’s presence among us. God became human; the Almighty became the child. Every generation before Christ and every generation after Christ is loved by God. We are loved and we were planned before this world was created.
