to turn back the hearts of fathers toward their sons

“You were destined, it is written, in time to come to put an end to wrath before the day of the LORD, to turn back the hearts of fathers toward their sons, and to re-establish the tribes of Jacob.” (SIR 48: 10)

We know how often fathers are very focused on bringing to their families all the necessary types of support, especially economic support. And sometimes they forget that this is not the most important element of their responsibility. Family is based on relationship and love; life (even in good quality) without love brings neither happiness nor fulfillment. God’s Word reminds us, especially men, to protect your relationship, protect your spouse, and protect your children by your love; spend quality time with them every day.
