To receive glory and honor and power

“Worthy are you, Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things; because of your will they came to be and were created.” (RV 4: 11)

All that we can bring to the Lord our God, Who not only “created all things,” but also created us, is “glory and honor and power.” We were created by His love, and love is the best answer. When love is present, we naturally would like to offer the loving person “glory and honor and power.” This normally comes by showing respect. When a husband respects his wife, he loves to see her glory, loves to honor her and is not afraid of her power because everything serves to increase love.
