The peace of God will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus

“Brothers and sisters: Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” (PHIL 4: 6-7) 

As God’s children, unconditionally loved, we have the privilege to talk to Our Lord directly; we can meet Him in our hearts, seeing Him totally focused on us and what we need to grow: “by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving” we can make our “requests known to God.” Whatever we will bring to Him or whatever is important to us, He will take care of it and then, “the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” We are loved.
