The Better Part

“Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things. There is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part and it will not be taken from her.” (LK 10: 41-42) 

We always have some options; we always need to decide what to choose. Sometimes “there is need of only one thing”: to protect our relationship and spend the most important time during the day with our spouses. Whenever we choose “the better part,” we are doing something important for our future.
