Rich in what matters to God

“But God said to him, ‘You fool, this night your life will be demanded of you; and the things you have prepared, to whom will they belong?’ Thus will it be for the one who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich in what matters to God.” (LK 12: 20-21)

When we follow Our Lord’s example and teaching and when we follow the mission He gave us, we can reach our full potential and fulfill our lives. We become “rich in what matters to God.” A true richness doesn’t lie in how much we have, but what we do with what we have. When we share time with others and when we serve and support others, we are “rich in what matters to God.”
