Reported all they had done and taught

“The apostles gathered together with Jesus and reported all they had done and taught. He said to them, ‘Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.’” (MK 6: 30-31)

A very good strategy—report to Jesus. Every day we are active, and many of our activities are connected with our vocation. It is good to report to Him what was done and what we learned and taught. Going to Our Lord with all our activities is mainly to “gather together with Jesus,” knowing that in many places in this world the good news is proclaimed and shared, and we are just a part of it.
