Remain in his love. 

“If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.” (JN 15: 10)

For us, we usually think of the “Commandments” as a duty, rule, assignment, or something we are obliged to do. For Our Lord, commandments are connected with love, respect, and unconditional gift of self. Spouses, bound by the sacraments, are living in union; part of this union is an obligation, rule, and assignment. But most of all, it is a privilege to love, to be connected, and to express our free, creative and joyful gift of self.
