Like clay in the hand of the potter

“Then the word of the LORD came to me: Can I not do to you, house of Israel, as this potter has done? says the LORD. Indeed, like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, house of Israel.” (JER 18: 5-6)

As God’s children we are under God’s protection. He knows us better than we know ourselves; He knows our talents and our possibilities; He knows what our missions and responsibilities are. “Indeed, like clay in the hand of the potter, so we are in His hand.”
