If the Son frees you, then you will truly be free

“Amen, amen, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin. A slave does not remain in a household forever, but a son always remains. So if the Son frees you, then you will truly be free.” (JN 8: 34-36)

Our salvation and true freedom come from Him. Only Our Lord can make us truly free: “If the Son frees you, then you will truly be free.” When we go to the sacrament of penance or when we confess regularly, we come to Him to be liberated and saved.
