I will give you rest

“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.” (MT 11: 28-30)

Work, work, and work harder doesn’t come from Our Lord. He dedicated His life 100 % to His Father and to us, and He doesn’t leave anything for Himself, but still He understands the importance of rest. The most important part of rest is being with Him. Vacations are for being with Him when we can meet Him more deeply, especially experiencing that He is “meek and humble of heart,” and that His “yoke is easy, and His burden light.”
