He said to him, “Follow me.”

“He said this signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. And when he had said this, he said to him, ‘Follow me.’” (JN 21: 19)

“He said to him” and to you and to me. He is saying this to every person who wants to listen to Him and wants to follow Him. Our lives are meant to “glorify God,” to respect God’s will and to establish around us the civilization of love and life. Our lives have a purpose, we are important, we are missionaries in this world to proclaim the Good News about unconditional love.
