God so loved the world that he gave his only Son

“God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.” (JN 3: 16-17)

Love is in giving, in sharing, and in taking care of others. We are loved, so we are protected and supported by Our God’s Son, Our Lord. He came “not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.” We, “who believes in him” will have eternal life, and eternal life means: we will be loved and we will love for eternity.

“Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; to God who is, who was, and who is to come.” (Gospel Acclamation)
