Gate to Life

“I am the gate. Whoever enters through me will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture… I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly” (J 10:10).
Our Lord, who described himself as “the Way”, now calls himself “the gate”. He would like to open for us the gate to life so that we might have not only life, but have it more abundantly. God wants for us everything in abundance, because nothing limited can satisfy our hearts.
“The merciful love of the Lord fills the earth; by the word of the Lord the heavens were made, alleluia” (Alleluia versus)
