Everyone who does good

“Yes, affliction and distress will come upon everyone who does evil, Jew first and then Greek. But there will be glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does good, Jew first and then Greek. There is no partiality with God.” (ROM 2: 9-11)

“Everyone who does evil” can’t expect anything less than “affliction and distress.” At the same time, for “everyone who does good,” will be “glory, honor and peace.” It’s like in our Programs—whoever lives as a sincere gift of self can expect all the best; whoever expects, by demands, something from others will finish with distress.

“My sheep hear my voice, says the Lord; I know them, and they follow me.” (Gospel Acclamation)
