Everyone who believes in him may have eternal life

“And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.” (JN 3: 14-15)
Our Lord’s life and death, His crucifixion and resurrection, are about our “eternal life”: “so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.” And eternal life it about love and living in relationship because there is no real life without love, and there is no love without relationship. Our Lord is God, Who is Love, so He brought to us “eternal life”; His life for ours.
