Came to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases

“A great crowd of his disciples and a large number of the people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the coastal region of Tyre and Sidon came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and even those who were tormented by unclean spirits were cured. Everyone in the crowd sought to touch him because power came forth from him and healed them all.” (LK 6: 17-19) 

Two activities can meet every day: ours and His; we can come to Him to hear Him; He can heal us of our diseases. There are so many ways we can “touch him”: reading and meditating on the Bible, attending a Holy Mass, receiving Holy Communion or staying with Him in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. All these ways give us a chance “to hear him and to be healed.”
