I’ve been waiting to show you the treasures of Heaven.

Especially that bottle to collect all your tears. I saw each of them falling down. And I saw your heart turning into a terrified bird flapping its wings. So much did I want you not to stop believing and trusting Me then!

There is also a special trunk to contain all those things which – as you expect – you’ve lost forever, the things that have been taken away from you and the ones you haven’t found. I’d like you so much not to worry: you’ll find in Me all the good you’ve been missing, saved there for you with great care.

You’ll find here also all those gestures which you carried on making in the night of the faith, when you felt abandonded and helpless. Here I’ve got the smile you gave to a tired checkout assistant. And here – when you told your sonny, making yor voice cheerful sound, oh, it’s spilled, don’t worry, we have to tidy it up, and it was the umpteenth time it had hapened. You’ll be surprised, how many things of this kind are piled up here.

You are wrong to think that I keep the record of your transgressions. I remove them as far as the east is from the west with my forgiveness. But I collect your tears and I number the hairs on your head. I’m so happy each time to see your smile.

Jesus

“You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” (Psalm 56:9)
