A spirit of power and love and self-control

“For this reason, I remind you to stir into flame the gift of God that you have through the imposition of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather of power and love and self-control.” (2 TIM 1: 6-7)

With God’s gifts, “a spirit of power and love and self-control,” we can grow as a community. “A spirit of power” helps us fight against our weaknesses; “a spirit of love” helps us to recognize the needs of our dearest ones not ours, and a “spirit of self-control” helps us to be a 100%, sincere gift of self.
