You did for me

“Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did  for me.” (MT 25: 40) 

This is beyond our imagination—how much Our Lord identified himself with us: 
“whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” It is much more understandable to those who were called to be spouses—they know that their lives are connected and whatever happens to the spouse, happens to them; they are living a life which is multiplied; two in one body.
