We will do everything that the LORD has told us

“When Moses came to the people and related all the words and ordinances of the LORD, they all answered with one voice, ‘We will do everything that the LORD has told us.’” (EX 24: 3)
Words are for putting them into action. Like God, Who created the world by saying it. When we declare love to somebody, it is not about our emotions we feel towards that person, it is about our actions and taking responsibility. “We will do everything…” like God’s word “that has been planted in you and is able to save your souls.”
