To His Twelve disciples

“When Jesus finished giving these commands to his Twelve disciples, he went away from that place to teach and to preach in their towns.” (MT 11: 1)

For Our Lord, the most important time was with His Apostles. He gave them instruction, He explained to them everything, He taught them and “gave commands.” “When Jesus finished” “he went away from that place to teach and to preach in their towns.” We have ourselves as spouses, as the most important people. This is our vocation, our identity, and our way to holiness and to heaven. When our relationship is the most important we are making our lives right and in order.

“Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.” (Gospel Acclamation)
