The will of my heavenly Father

“But he said in reply to the one who told him, ‘Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?’ And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is my brother, and sister, and mother.’” (MT 12: 48-50)

Different kind of relationships: as a sibling or a child; important is that Our Lord wants to be with us in a relationship which is based on family. Not only a friend or neighbor—this relationship is temporal, but with your family, you are always connected, you are always in a relationship. Our Lord wants us to be connected with Him in the most familiar way; He is not only my Lord but also my brother.
