The shepherd calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

“The gatekeeper opens it for him, and the sheep hear his voice, as the shepherd calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.” (JN 10: 3)

How often we are embarrassed couldn’t remember somebody’s name; we are using all possible options not to use his/her name, still knowing that we know this person and we should remember his/her name. But Our Lord knows me by name and knows to where He will lead me. We are protected in every moment of our lives. When we are in temporary “conflict” with our spouses, it is good to ask Lord where to go, what to do, how to solve the situation; He knows better, and His advice will help us grow together; his help never humiliates us.
