The message of the cross

“The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” (1 COR 1: 18) 

The cross still speaks, and its message: “to us, who are being saved it is the power of God.” The cross does not bring suffering, martyrdom or pain but the saving power of God, who always takes care of us and brings to us whatever we need to grow.

“Be vigilant at all times and pray, that you may have the strength to stand before the Son of Man.” (Gospel Acclamation)
