The Lord Jesus appointed seventy-two disciples

“The Lord Jesus appointed seventy-two disciples whom he sent ahead of him in pairs to every town and place he intended to visit.” (LK 10: 1)

“In pairs,” like practitioners and medical consultants or like our coaches, “the Lord Jesus appointed seventy-two disciples whom he sent ahead of him in pairs to every town and place he intended to visit.” We are never alone; whenever we go, chosen by Our Lord, He is just behind us.
