The Kingdom of God is among you

“The coming of the Kingdom of God cannot be observed, and no one will announce, ‘Look, here it is,’ or, ‘There it is.’ For behold, the Kingdom of God is among you.” (LK 17: 20-21) 

“The Kingdom of God is among you,” so we can see our spouses, children , co-workers and our neighbors in a totally different way; today, we—weak people, with our limits and defects— can expect the Kingdom of God.  There is no need to look for it somewhere else—with “better” people or more prestigious communities; just remain in Him.

“I am the vine, you are the branches, says the Lord: whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit.” (Gospel Acclamation)
