The Father who dwells in me is doing his works

“The words that I speak to you I do not speak on my own. The Father who dwells in me is doing his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else, believe because of the works themselves.” (JN 14: 10-11)

Like we are united with Our Lord so, He is united with His Father, “Who dwells in him doing his works.” We who are united with Our Lord, want to present His love to others. Our Lord, who is united with His Father, wants to present the Father’s love to us. “His works” are very simple—to love us and invite us to Heaven.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life, says the Lord; Philip, whoever has seen me has seen the Father.” (Gospel Acclamation)
