The earth shall be filled with knowledge of the LORD

“There shall be no harm or ruin on all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be filled with knowledge of the LORD, as water covers the sea.” (IS 11: 9) 

This is the vision of Isaiah, and we are part of this. We, who believe, who reflect every day on Our Lord’s words, who day by day are “filled with knowledge of the Lord,” and with us our children, friends and neighbors, are those referred to: “He will enlighten the eyes of his servants.” 

“Behold, our Lord shall come with power; he will enlighten the eyes of his servants.” (Gospel Acclamation)
