Stood up to test Jesus and said…

“There was a scholar of the law who stood up to test Jesus and said, ‘Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?’” (LK 10: 25)

It is so sad that “a scholar” asked: “what must I do to inherit eternal life,” and at the same time, he used his question to test Jesus. How important it is to remember our communication and our dialog should always focus on protecting our relationships, not on destroying the other person or proving that we are better.
