Save his life

“For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and that of the Gospel will save it.” (MK 8: 35)

There is no other way to save our lives than to give them totally in the unconditional, free, creative, and joyful gift of self. We know this perfectly from our marriages; whenever we fought for our own vision, we finished disappointed, frustrated, and unhappy. However, when we chose to be for our spouses, chose to do something which was for our common good, we were happy, fulfilled, and integrated.
