People brought to him all those who were sick and begged him  

“People brought to him all those who were sick and begged him that they might touch only the tassel on his cloak, and as many as touched it were healed.” (MT 14: 35-36)
 
We are important; our relationship with Our Lord is important—we know Him, we know our friends and neighbors, we can bring “to him all those who are sick,” and we ask, “beg Him” to help. Today we are in better condition and we ask for help, on another day our friends will beg for us. The more we are in love with Our Lord, the more we can help.
