Obeys and teaches

“Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven. But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.” (MT 5: 19)

“Obeys and teaches” is not only about priests or nuns, it is also about every father and every mother. Daily life is full of opportunities to make God’s word real and present at home. Like the commandments are about love and respect, so also our homes are about love and respect.
