Not to abolish but to fulfill

March 18, 2020 4:00 am

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.” (MT 5: 17)

Our Lord came to fulfill all God’s promises. He came to destroy the sin to make us free again, to help us to grow and to fulfill God’s talents we received, the vocation we received, and bring fruits. Our main concern could be always—what else I can do to fulfill my life and bring more love to my beloved ones.

“Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life; you have the words of everlasting life.” (Gospel Acclamation)
