Jesus Christ, the son of David…

“The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Abraham became the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers.” (MT 1: 1-2) 

God became human, and He chose our genealogy to be really a part of our nature. What dignity of our nature. When we feel trapped in our temptations, in our weaknesses, and our poor physical or emotional condition, it is good to remember that Our Lord also lived in the same nature and, knowing our limits and condition, will always help us, “guiding with power and love.”
