In every good word

“May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting encouragement and good hope through his grace, encourage your hearts and strengthen them in every good deed and word.” (2 THES 2: 16-17)

God takes care of us and “strengthen[s] us in every good deed and word.” “The word of God is living and effective,” and Our Lord knows perfectly well that words can encourage people or destroy people, especially within the family. When we are gentle and respectful in dialog, we can experience His presence in our relationships.
