I, the Lord, lead you on the way you should go

“I, the LORD, your God, teach you what is for your good, and lead you on the way you should go. If you would hearken to my commandments, your prosperity would be like a river, and your vindication like the waves of the sea.” (IS 48: 17-18) 

Our daily contact with the Bible or with daily readings and our daily meditation helps us to recognize “the way we should go.” Our Lord always talks to us, “teaches us what is for our good,” how to be a better husband or wife, how to be better parents for our children, how to grow together. Our daily reflection based on daily readings is like studying a map before the trip to remember where we want to go and how we can reach our destination in the safest way.
