I myself shall give you a wisdom in speaking

“Remember, you are not to prepare your defense beforehand, for I myself shall give you a wisdom in speaking that all your adversaries will be powerless to resist or refute.” (LK 21: 14-15)

Our Lord takes care of us in every part of our lives. When we are attacked and persecuted because of being faithful to Him, we can expect His support: “you are not to prepare your defense beforehand, for I myself shall give you a wisdom in speaking that all your adversaries will be powerless to resist or refute.”

“Remain faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” (Gospel Acclamation)
