“All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” (MT 28: 18-20)
The last words of Our Lord, like the last words of someone who leaves us, are very important. This is especially true when the last words come from Our Lord, who loves us and came to express God’s love to us. He gave us a mission and He promised to be “with us always, until the end of the age;” how happy we are.
“Go and teach all nations, says the Lord; I am with you always, until the end of the world.” (Gospel Acclamation)
