I am not alone, because the Father is with me

“Do you believe now? Behold, the hour is coming and has arrived when each of you will be scattered to his own home and you will leave me alone. But I am not alone, because the Father is with me.” (JN 16 31-32)

It could happen in our lives that we will experience “the hour… when each of us will be scattered to his own home.” And it could be one of the most difficult moments, when we need confirmation that we are not alone, like Jesus wasn’t: “Because the Father is with me.”

“If then you were raised with Christ, seek what is above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.” (Gospel Acclamation)
