He will guide you to all truth

“But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to you the things that are coming.” (JN 16: 13) 

As children of God, we also grow. In this process we need help; we need Somebody who “will guide us to all truth.” “The Spirit of truth” knows perfectly the Father and the Son, so “He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears.” We are never alone and never abandoned because “another Advocate is with us always.” 

“I will ask the Father and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always.” (Gospel Acclamation)
