He remains faithful

“If we have died with him we shall also live with him; if we persevere we shall also reign with him. But if we deny him he will deny us. If we are unfaithful he remains faithful, for he cannot deny himself.” (2 TM 2: 11-13)
Our Lord always remains faithful, even if “we are unfaithful,” because He “cannot deny himself”; He knows Who He is. When we truly and fully recognize our identity—I am husband/I am wife—it is easier for us to take actions which help us to remain faithful.
“In all circumstances, give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” (Gospel Acclamation)
