Great joy

“My brothers, consider it a great joy when trials of many kinds come upon you, for you well know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance, and perseverance must complete its work so that you will become fully developed, complete, not deficient in any way.” (James 1:2-4)

“… a great joy when trials of many kinds come upon you…” (James 1:2). Trials of many kinds. With faith our ability to recognize God’s will grows, our vision of life widens, God’s presence becomes more visible. When my eyes are focused on Him, I can see His providence, His guidance.

“So that you will become fully developed, complete, not deficient in any way” (Js 1:4).
