Go tell my brothers

April 11, 2020 4:00 am

“And behold, Jesus met them on their way and greeted them. They approached, embraced his feet, and did him homage. Then Jesus said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.’” (MT 28: 9-10)

Apostles, disciples, friends and now: “my brothers”; Our Lord is closer to us then we can imagine. He wants not only to be our Master and Redeemer, but He also wants to be our Brother. We are so loved.

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his mercy endures forever. Let the house of Israel say, ‘His mercy endures forever.’” (Gospel Acclamation)
