Do not let your hearts be troubled.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me.” (JN 14: 1)

We have a responsibility for our hearts: “do not let your heart be troubled.” When we are troubled, it shows that we do not trust God, Who is always with us, protects us, and leads us. When we experience something new and strange, difficult and overwhelming, it is because it is time for us to grow up, to move outside our comfort zone, to be gentle, respectful, and more creative in giving.

“I am the way and the truth and the life, says the Lord; no one comes to the Father except through me.” (Gospel Acclamation)
