Be perfect

“So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (MT 5: 48) 

We dream about having a perfect job, a perfect day, a perfect vacation, or a perfect car. Sometimes we dream about having a perfect family, relationship, or perfect spouse and children. And when we think about something perfect, we think about receiving it. When Our Lord asks us to “be perfect, just us your heavenly Father is perfect,” He wants us to BE, not to HAVE. Perfection is not in having but in doing. It is about loving, not demanding. Be perfect. Create a perfect job, day, or vacation. Love your spouse and together be loving parents.
