ask and you will receive

“And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” (LK 11: 9-10)

We lose patience so easily; when we discover some difficulties in our relationships, our natural reaction is to increase our expectations of our spouses instead of improving our own behaviors (alway we can start with gentleness and respect). Our Lord reminds us that when we are in need, we have to start asking, seeking and knocking. This is time for actions not time for expectations because “everyone who asks, receives…”
